Grace Lucas. Co-Chairperson.

As I work and do not drop off/pick up my children at the Pre-School, being on the committee has provided me with a link and insight into the working of the Pre-School that I wouldn’t otherwise have. I’ve had the opportunity to meet other parents and it feels like we make a difference. We ensure the Pre-School continues to run and do what we can to help our staff focus on the development and education of our children.

Caroline Osmond

Secretary

I am a Mum to 3 children and a part-time Practice Nurse. I have witnessed first hand how my children have all been nurtured and educated at Pre-School (between 2009-2019). They have had the best possible start to their education and I wanted to ensure Ickleford Pre-School was available to all children so they can enjoy the same privilege. Being the committee secretary allows me to give a little back and to help plan for the future generations.

Emma Grainger

Treasurer

I work full time and have very little time to spare. However, I feel spending a few hours a month on the Pre-School is time well spent. I enjoy helping make the Pre-School as good as it can be, from reviewing the figures to helping plan an Easter egg hunt! Please join us – you’ll have a cracking time!

What Our Families are Saying

“This is a lovely setting. My shy daughter has blossomed into a sociable little girl, ready for school.

“My little boy started when he just turned two years old having just moved into the village. We were made to feel so welcome with his key worker helping him to settle quickly. He runs into pre-school now every morning.”

“My son really looks forward to going to pre-school. I like the way that the staff re-iterate the rules that we have at home such as to play with kind hands and to have good manners at the table when eating. He has a great friendship with all of the staff and other pre-schoolers and he talks about them at home all of the time!”
